The white peacock is a symbol of purity, but also of love, beauty, passion and wealth – thus it is perfect not only for a wedding, but actually for all beautiful occasions in life That's why it gets the starring role on this stole. The mandala in the center and the embellishment pick up on the peacock theme, creating a harmonious and beautiful overall look.

The same motif can also be used for an impressive table runner as a decoration for very special days.

This stole is knitted in the double knitting technique. Thus, it is extra soft and looks beautiful on both sides.

Required skills: double knitting in general. Due to the size of this project, I don't recommend it as a starter project for double knit beginners (unless you really really want to knit it and have enough stamina for it )

Gauge: 25 stitches x 38.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm

With this gauge size of the finished stole will be approx. 40 cm x 163 cm, if you work exactly the same knitting sections as I did. You can adapt the length.

• Set «White Peacock» from Mister Twister (2 x Twister 4-ply with 1000 m / 270 g); a link to the shop is included in the pattern
• Alternatively: any 4-ply gradient yarn (185 m / 50 g), two different colours, about 1000 m per colour
• knitting needles 2.5 mm / US 1 ½ or 3 mm / US 2 1/2, depending on your tension; please note that with a different gauge, also size of the finished stole as well as yarn consumption will differ
• tapestry needle, scissors
