Double sided knitting pattern "Summer Dream" - stole / wrap

This stole evokes carefree, balmy summer evenings – a stroll through the park or sitting on a park bench by a small pond, listening to the crickets chirping, frogs croaking, and dragonflies hunting through the reeds... Thanks to different knitting sections, you can adjust the length to suit your personal preference.

This stole is knitted in the double sided knitting technique. Thus, it is extra soft and looks beautiful on both sides.

Required skills: double knitting in general. Due to the size of this project, I don't recommend it as a starter project for double knit beginners (unless you really really want to knit it and have enough stamina for it )

Please note: all files beginning with "en -" are in English.

28 stitches per colour x 37 rows = 10 x 10 cm

With this gauge, size of the finished stole will be approx. 36 cm x 189 cm, if you work exactly the same sections as I did. You can easily make the stole shorter or longer.

I knit rather tightly, so you may have a different gauge, e.g., 25 stitches = 10 cm, which will make the stole slightly wider. Please note that the amount of yarn used will also increase if you use the same yarn and knit more loosely than I do.

• Hobbii Twister Yellow Snapdragon and Mermaids, 250 g / 1000 m each per colour
• alternatively: any 4-ply gradient yarn (200 m / 50 g), two different colours, about 1000 m per colour
• knitting needles 2.5 mm / US 1 ½
• tapestry needle, scissors
