Left-Handed

I'm looking for knitting or crochet patterns for left-handers. Are there any?

are you looking to learn how to knit?
Or do you—or the person you’re looking for—already know the basic techniques, and are you now looking for specific patterns for garments or accessories?

If it’s the former: There are various books and videos on learning to knit for left-handers. I can’t link to anything here, but if you’ve ever used a search engine, you’ll find plenty of material by searching for “learning to knit left-handed.”

If it’s the latter: In principle, you don’t need any special patterns at all. It’s about knitting specific shapes, and it doesn’t matter whether you’re left- or right-handed. With a scarf or a hat, it makes no difference whether you knit from left to right or the other way around. With gloves, if you follow the instructions for the left glove but knit exactly the other way around, you’ll end up with a right glove. And then you simply knit the second one as a mirror image of the first, or follow the separate instructions for the second glove, if available. 

It can get tricky if you want to knit certain stitch patterns. When crossing stitches for a cable pattern, the crossing ends up going in the other direction. But even that isn’t really a big deal. It gets a bit more difficult with lace patterns. Many patterns require you to follow a knitting chart exactly. But once you’ve understood the principle behind knitting stitches together and how to insert the needle so that a specific stitch lies on top, even that is relatively easy to manage.
