Jane Shawl

The Jane Shawl is made entirely of single crochet stitches and is therefore especially beginner-friendly. In the step-by-step pattern, you'll learn exactly what you need to do. That way there's no frustration, and soon you'll be holding your very own Jane Shawl in your hands. Have lots of fun with it. You can get the pattern, in which I explain everything to you in detail, in my Blickfang-Design store. Feel free to stop by.

to the crochet pattern

This strawberry crochet pattern (for three sizes) is absolutely beginner-friendly. Every step is described in detail and supplemented with pictures. In addition, the pattern includes crochet charts for the flower and leaf as well as a clear short version. The magic ring and special stitches are also explained.

I think these crochet strawberries are an ideal introduction to amigurumi crochet:
They are worked in rounds with single crochet stitches – just like the basic shapes of classic amigurumi. Even the (almost) invisible decrease of single crochet stitches is included.

Crochet strawberries can be used in so many versatile ways: decorations on jam jars or homemade gifts from the kitchen, keychains or bag charms, play-shop fruit, decorations on all kinds of crochet projects such as door wreaths, window decorations, or arranged as a strawberry wreath around a tealight glass ...

A great project for using up leftover yarn for the kids’ play store: the colorful fruit basket with 12 different types of fruit (apples, pears, lemons, oranges, plums, peaches, kiwis, cherries, bananas, grapes, melon, and pineapple) is perfect for crochet beginners, since it’s crocheted almost entirely in spiral rounds. The individual fruits are very easy to crochet; only the pineapple is a little more challenging. The trick here is to choose colors that look as natural as possible. Yarns with a soft color gradient also work especially well.

And here’s another leftover-yarn project for the kids’ play store or play kitchen that beginners can easily manage: a [link removed] featuring a typical Bavarian snack: white sausages with mustard, pretzels, and radishes. Doesn’t that make your mouth water?

And after the snack, it’s time for some serious relaxing: the hammock for small dolls and small stuffed animals is also beginner-friendly and suitable for using up small amounts of leftover yarn. I designed it in a size suitable for small dress-up dolls (approx. 30 cm) and similarly small stuffed animals. But it can also be made larger by crocheting more stitches and rows.
