I have two new blog posts. I invite you to read, be amazed, and make them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina
1. Sewing pattern: Games in a Bag
My grandson is going on vacation soon and wanted to be able to take his "board game," which he really likes playing right now, with him. But there’s no room for the stiff board in his little suitcase. So we simply sewed the playing field onto fabric. For game pieces, he can look for stones or shells on the beach.
After playing, you can leave the game pieces on the playing surface and pull the playing field together into a little bag.
2. Spruce up a stool with pompoms
My little granddaughter was the lucky recipient of the second blog idea. I had an old stool—and I spruced it up with a pompom cover in her favorite colors. That way, it can happily live in the children’s room for a while. You can make the pompoms together with the children. They are sewn onto a crocheted base that has the same diameter as the seat.
