Polka-dotted, striped, patterned, plaid: more variety in your crafting

Dear community,
How about some varied patterns featuring polka dots, stripes, bold patterns or plaid? Have fun with your new favorite pattern.

Polka-dotted:
What would toadstools be without dots? With the toadstool egg cozies, the dots are crocheted right in as bobbles. The cute toadstools can also be given as good-luck charms or as gift packaging for sweets.




Striped:
Irregular stripes appear entirely by chance in a temperature blanket,  where just one row is crocheted or knitted each day, because the color of the stripes depends on the outdoor temperature on that particular day: an interesting year-long project that won’t overwhelm you, since you only work one row each day.




Checkered:
Izzy the Hedgehog Hand Puppet has a shirt with a red-and-yellow checkered pattern. He also wears blue overalls with appliquéd little hearts. Izzy was designed for small children’s hands, but can also easily be made a bit wider.

Striped....



is my crocheted blanket in three colors. Of course, you can also choose more or fewer colors. Maybe you also have some leftover yarn to crochet it in lots of colors.
