Dear Community,
Here in this thread and in the shop, you’ll find ideas for projects that you can work on while on the go—projects that are small enough to fit in your purse. Have fun with it.

@Sellers:
You can post 2–3 relevant patterns here; each must have at least 25 sales and a conversion rate (CR) of at least 3%, and they must not have been promoted in the forum in the past 3 weeks. Don’t forget to include links, pictures, and other details.

Two Twenty Three

The mittens fit into any handbag as a project, and belong there once finished, too. They are an ideal companion because they are knitted with fingering yarn, so they are not too warm during the transitional seasons. The fold-over cap makes it easy to quickly free your fingers when needed.

Potholders are an excellent crochet project when you're on the go, because usually 1–2 skeins are enough, and you can easily carry them in your handbag.

Here are a few examples from my shop:

The nostalgic Milk Can Potholder is crocheted double so you can slip your hand inside. The white dots are crocheted in as bobbles at the same time.

To match it, there is the Coffee Cup Potholder, which is crocheted using the same technique.

And now, for Easter season, the Easter Egg Potholder with a tulip pattern is a great choice. Crochet it in soft spring colors; it looks especially charming!

Something small for on the go—socks and wrist warmers come to mind right away.

I love spiral socks. These are socks without a heel. The advantage: we don’t have to knit a heel 😊 and this style fits across several sizes. Great for children, since they grow quite quickly. At home, I use them as house socks. No matter what shoe size the adults wear, they fit.

You can never have too many wrist warmers. Lots of patterns, lots of colors—you’ll be well equipped.

These wrist warmers are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles. The pattern is detailed, and if you’ve already had some practice with a cable needle, they’ll be easy to make.

Hi,
I don’t have a pattern to share,
but I think it depends on the size of your purse. 😁
And on a project with a simpler pattern—one where I don’t have to keep counting all the time. 🙄

@Taulglanz,
you’re probably right about that.

@Community,
are there any other projects for on the go?
