Giving Away Crocheted Gnomes

Hello, a year ago I bought a pattern. Now I’ve crocheted the gnomes for my 70 after-school care kids and would like to give them as gifts when school starts again. What do I need to keep in mind? Should I include a note saying who the pattern is from, or... or? Best regards, Silke Reuschel

So if it were one of my patterns, you wouldn’t have to mention that when giving them away. If crochet enthusiasts ask, of course, gladly 🤗

Many designers want to be credited when objects crocheted from their pattern are being sold. I don’t think anyone here has anything against giving them away; quite the opposite.

Some designers prohibit selling them; that’s usually stated in the pattern.

PS: I think it’s really wonderful of you to make and give away 70 gnomes for children! 👍 😊 They’ll be absolutely thrilled

On the homepage of her store, under her name, you’ll find the
clickable blue note Contact. That way you can very easily
send her a message and get a personal
reply from her.
