Beginner Projects: Quick and Easy to Finish // Also Great for Leftovers

A very simple beginner project that you can finish quickly is the ghost bookmark. It is written out row by row, so you really can’t go wrong. A little yarn in white and black and a crochet hook are all you need—and you can get started!



The fruit coasters are just as easy to make. They are crocheted in rounds. The coasters can also be used as glass covers, because they have a small hole in the middle that a straw fits through perfectly. And if you crochet a few more rounds and add a hanging loop, you can also use this pattern to crochet potholders.



Do your children love playing ice cream shop too? Round scoops of ice cream and pointed waffle cones are crocheted from lots of colorful leftover yarn. And if you add faces to the scoops, you’ll even create a cute amigurumi.

My Diamant scarf is absolutely suitable for beginners; it is knitted with 200 g of sock-weight yarn.

My Simply Loop is quick and easy to knit. With just 2 x 50 g of yarn with a yardage of 160 m per 50 g, it knits up quickly. The length can be shortened or extended as desired. It is absolutely suitable for beginners.
