When crocheting my “Sunset” tunic, I used summery colors,
ranging from lime to turmeric to cognac and Malaga.
Because the color gradient already provides enough variety,
I kept the top fairly simple.
Only the raglan slopes were given a leaf pattern as an eye-catcher.
This pattern is repeated later in the “skirt.”
With a 3-ply cake (1500 m), you’ll get a short-sleeved garment.
With 2 additional small 300 m cakes, you can crochet long sleeves.
3/4 sleeves are also possible. Just the way you like it.
This amount of yarn is enough for dress sizes up to 48/50.
However, that also depends on
how fitted or loose you want your tunic to be and how loosely or tightly you crochet.
Since I crocheted the tunic as a raglan from the top down (RVO),
the size can be adjusted very easily.
In the pattern you’ll get helpful tips on this,
so you can crochet the tunic for any ready-to-wear size.
