Crocheted items for a children’s play store are quick to make and usually have very simple shapes. The trick is to use colors that are as realistic as possible. Then success is guaranteed.

For the fruit section of the play store:
a colorful fruit crate with 12 different types of fruit: apples, pears, bananas, apricots, plums, kiwis, cherries, grapes, lemons, oranges, melon, and pineapple. These are mainly round shapes, which are easy to crochet. Use gradient yarn as well; it makes the fruit look especially realistic.

And right next to the fruit, you’ll find the vegetables: the
basket with various types of vegetables has different levels of difficulty. Start with the simple shapes: carrots, bell peppers, eggplant, kohlrabi, tomatoes, and zucchini. For the leek, you’ll work with two colors at the same time. And once you’ve practiced the easy shapes, you can also try the slightly more challenging ones, like corn and cauliflower.

Of course, meat lovers shouldn’t be left out either: on the
Bavarian snack board
you’ll find white sausages, a pretzel, mustard, and radishes—everything is very easy to crochet, but very decorative!
