Publishing patterns without a business license

Hi everyone,

First of all: I’m aware that you’re only allowed to sell patterns if you have a business license or are registered as a small business.

But my question is about free patterns.

Do I need a business license to publish free patterns here on Crazypatterns, or can I just do it? After all, I’m not making any money from them if I make them available for free.

Maybe someone can answer my question :)
