Cut the thread and pull it through the last st, tighten and fasten.
Both sock parts are now placed on top of each other, with the back facing inwards. Now re-needle at the front corner of the top opening (on the side the sock is facing) and crochet around the sock with single crochet stitches until you reach the other side of the top opening again. Now crochet 10 ch, with which you form a loop for hanging by crocheting a sl st in the first st of the ch chain on the sock.
Tip: You can add a nice accent to your sock by using yarn in a different color.

Fur brim (Fur wool, NS 6 mm):
The upper fur part is crocheted in spiral rounds.
Tip: Use a thread to see the loops better.
Now use fur wool to needle the first stitch on the right at the top edge of the sock (next to the eyelet for hanging), re-knit and crochet along this in the round:

1. Rd: inc, 20 sc, inc, skip the seam from crocheting together and crochet on the back part the sock continues:
inc, 20 sc, inc (48)
2.-13. Rd: 48 sc (12 rounds) (48)
1 sl st, cut the thread, pull it through the last loop, tighten and sew. Now fold the fur part down (outside).

Your holiday sock is ready! I hope you had a lot of fun crocheting.
Feel free to check out my other tutorials on the blog and in my shop. :-)

Tip: You can also crochet the sock in any other color or leave out the heart and create a reindeer out of it with a crocheted holiday sock in brown, a red pompom and an embroidered face:
