Crochet Pattern "Easter basket"

 

Material:
yarn scraps
Crochet hook 3mm or 2mm

sewing needles

Abbreviations:
st-stitch
sc-single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
ch-chain

Round 1
Chain 15, 6 dc in the 3rd st from hook.

1 dc in each of next 11 sts,

6 dc in next st.

Working on another side of foundation chain: 1 dc in each of next 11 sts,

sl st.

Round 2

Ch 2, 2 hdc in each of next 6 sts,

1 hdc in each of next 12 sts,

2 hdc in each of next 6 sts,

1 hdc in each of next 10 sts, sl st.

Round 3

Ch 1, 1 sc into each of next st around working in the back loop.

Round 4

(Work in continuous spiral round)

Change to another colour,

ch 1, sc into each of next st around.

Round 5

*4 sc, increase* repeat from* to* till the edn of the round

Round 6-7

ch 1, sc into each of next st around.

Round 8

Change to another colour,

Ch 1, *1 sc and 1 dc in next st, skip 1 st*, repeat from* to* till the edn of the round, sl st.

Round 9

Turn the work!

Ch 1, 1 sc and 1 dc in next st,* skip 1 st, 1 sc and 1 dc in next st*, repeat from* to* till the end of round, sl st.

Handle

ch 30 and start crocheting in second stitch from hook, 1 sc in each of next 28 chs.

Turn the work

ch1, 1 sc in each of next 28 chs.

Handle sew

    Lovely pattern , but no matter how much I try on the increase round , I end up with two extra stitches, that’s round 5 ?.

    In the beginning row 1, as you are making the last turn, it says 6 SC. Should it be DC instead, to match the rest of the row? It is after the 4th picture.
