Flower Power Socks

"Flower Power" Shortie socks inspired by Les Fleurs, a song by Minnie Riperton.

An eye-catching lace panel runs along the top of the foot.
Construction is toe-up in the round with seamless cast on, wedge toe and increases either side for the gusset. A short row heel turn is followed by an eye-of-partridge heel flap, and a short section of 1x1 ribbing, to finish the top of the sock.

Turkish cast on in the round, knitting in the round on DPNs or magic loop, yo, k2tog, ssk, slip stitch pattern, German short row heel, elastic cast off for 1x1 rib.

Brambles and Me Ridge 4 ply sock yarn; 365m per 100g; 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool; 1 skein in colour way Northern Skies or a solid or semi-solid colour 4 ply sock yarn to show off the lace stitches.

Set of 5 DPNs 2.75 mm (US 2) 15 cm long or a circular needle at least 100 cm long for magic loop.
Circular needle one size smaller for toe cast on (optional).
