Double knitting pattern potholder "Best MOM / MUM"

These potholders are a lovely present for the best Mom in the world – for Mother’s Day, her birthday or simply as a kind reminder, how important she is to you With double knitting the potholders become quite tight and look good on both sides.

There are two different versions for "Best MOM" and "Best MUM" included:

classic double knitting – the letters will appear mirrored on one side
advanced double knitting – the letters will appear corrrectly on both sides

You will get five separate pdf documents:

• general instructions on how to knit the potholders
• two knitting charts for the motif "Best MOM" (classic and advanced double knitting)

With a gauge 18,5 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm, size of the finished potholder is approx. 21,5 cm x 21,5 cm

• Yarn and Colors Epic, 100 % cotton, 75 m / 50 gr, approx. 70-80 gr each of the two main colours; approx. 5 gr each of colour 3 and 4 for the edge / the handle (for a set of two potholders)
  When using this yarn, the potholders become very thick and tight; if you prefer a thinner version, you can use lighter yarn with about 100 m / 50 gr
• 2,5 mm (US 1 or 2) knitting needle
• Crochet hook 3 mm
• Tapestry needle, scissors
