Would you like to apply an old German tradition to your Christmas preparation? Since 19th century German people celebrate the advent of the Holy Child on Christmas Eve. Especially for the children, who are full of anticipation, the waiting time is much more bearable. Usually the Advent Calendar is known as an illustrated paperwork box with 24 separate compartments filled with small pieces of chocolate. Every day beginning on Dec 1st, the kids may open the compartment of the day. Our Advent Calendar is very special, because it is self-made and re-usable every year. Moreover it is a very lovely decoration for Christmas time, as well. Basic skills, such as knit and purl are required, everything else is explained in detail.
