LoopScarf *Imagina*

A beautiful loop scarf, designed by Birgit Freyer.

With this pattern, you can knit a sophisticated loop scarf worked in the LeftOver style. This combination of a colourful background and a solid-coloured pattern can be learned quickly.

The loop *Imagina* has a graphical pattern and can also be knitted as a cowl.

You can use pieces of colourful leftover sockyarn and felt them together to use them as colour 2 (background colour). The colour of the pattern should be chosen to accomplish a strong contrast to enhance the effect of the pattern.

The pattern is charted.

The pattern contains 2 pages DIN A4 in a pdf file with a photo of the finished shawl, a schematic drawing, charts and a detail photo in the table of symbols.

Required skills:

Size: approx. 35 cm (13.75 in) width x approx.140 cm (55 in) circumference, variable

Yarn: Variegated or self-striping sockyarn (fingering weight) for colour 2, solid-coloured sockyarn for colour 1.
Yardage: approximately 410 m (450 yds) of colour 1, approx. 230 m (255 yds) of colour 2.
Needle size: 4.0 to 5.0 mm (US size 6 to 8, UK size 8 to 6)
