Wrap up and get cozy in a beautiful shawl that is crocheted in a bulky yarn with a larger crochet hook. The body of the shawl is crocheted in a simple shell stitch pattern starting at the point and worked to the desired length. Then a lacy (almost ruffled) border is added to complete the boutique look.
Skills Required / What You'll Receive
Skill level: Intermediate.
Instructions: This pattern PDF consists of two pages of written instructions.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.
Size Information
Size: Adult woman - one size fits most. Shawl measures approximately 64" across the top and approximately 23" from point of shawl to top edge before edging. Instructions are included for making shawl larger if desired.
Materials List
Materials: Yarn: The shawl shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Barcelona" (a bulky or size 5 weight yarn) from Loops and Threads. Gauge is not crucial on this project as you start at the point and work to desired measurement. You will need approximately 1000 yards of almost any bulky or size 5 yarn.
Tools: Crochet hook: U.S. size M.

Love it
I really wanted the pattern to make a crochet waistcoat for myself like the one I made for myself when i was about 29 years old which is a long time ago now. I'm 79 yrs old now

Fantastic pattern
Not an easy pattern to follow (I ended up sewing each flower together separately as I couldn't get the hang of the joining. It still turned out well though.
