A fabulous version of Spider Web Lace creates a soft, warm and wonderful scarf that is perfect for wrapping around the neck several times. The pattern repeats every twelve rows and is simple enough for a novice with just a little bit of crochet experience.

Skill level: Beginner.
Instructions: This pattern PDF consists of two pages of written instructions.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.

Size: Adult woman - one size fits most. Approximately 5" wide and 76" in length.
Materials List
Materials: Yarn: The scarf shown in the photo is crocheted in "Softee Baby" (a DK or light worsted weight yarn) from Bernat. Since gauge is not crucial on this project, you can use almost any light worsted weight yarn. You will need approximately 350 yards to complete this scarf.
Tools: Crochet hook, U.S. size G.

I really wanted the pattern to make a crochet waistcoat for myself like the one I made for myself when i was about 29 years old which is a long time ago now. I'm 79 yrs old now

Fantastic pattern
Not an easy pattern to follow (I ended up sewing each flower together separately as I couldn't get the hang of the joining. It still turned out well though.
