Baby jacket "Circus", from arm to arm, size: 1 m. - 3 y. (knitted look)

Would you like to crochet a jacket for your child that looks like it has been knitted? Then this crochet pattern is just for you. A simple children's jacket with a hood, double-breasted, which is very quick and easy to make. What makes this jacket special is that it is crocheted from arm to arm and therefore only has two seams. It can be crocheted in either two colours or one colour.

This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated tutorial for crocheting a baby or children's jacket "Circus", for size 1 m. to 3-year-old child in a knitted look. The jacket can be crocheted for both summer and winter (depending on the wool).

Note for the sl st: This jacket is crocheted with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, crocheted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises crochet with the sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool. How to crochet the sl st is explained in the video (link in the pattern).

• For winter: Merino Extrafine 120 wool Schachenmayr, composition: 100% pure wool, run length approx. 120 m / 50 g
• For summer: Lana Grossa COTTON MIX 130 (McWool), 50 % cotton, 50 % acrylic. Running length: approx. 130 m / 50 g
• Up to size 5-8 m.: 200 g of the color petrol and 200 g of the color mint and 50 g more of each color for each further size
• Crochet hook No. 4.5 and No. 4 for crocheting around the body (EU-size)
• Buttons, 4-6 pcs (depending on the size of the jacket)
