Knitted bracelet "The Waves of Sea and Love"
Product description
Originally a sad story about love and death by Austrian author Franz Grillparzer. Let's stick to the love and make some friendship bracelets.
They knit up quickly in some leftovers of sport weight cotton yarn. A great last minute gift.
The bracelet comes in two sizes.
Difficulty level: advanced beginner (icord, unusual construction)
Yarn: Lana Grossa Cotone (100% cotton; 125m/50g; 137yds/1.76oz) in 2 different colors. A small leftover of each is enough. My samples used 10m (11yds) of main color and 7.5m (8yds) of contrast color.
Needles: 2 DPNs in size 2.5mm/US 1 1/2
Notions: yarn needle
Gauge: 28 stitches/40 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in. (Not really important)
Size: 15 - 19cm (6 – 7 1/2in) circumference unstretched

Die Anleitung ist okay und gut nachvollziehbar. Jede Reihe ist einzeln Masche für Masche beschrieben. Mehrere Maschenproben waren aufgrund großer Abweichungen nötig. Für den Preis fehlt mir eine Großaufnahme der Stelle des Anfangs der Arbeit, der Mittellinie und der Ecken, sowie eine Schemazeichnung. Beim Stöbern bin ich im Nachhinein auf eine ähnliche, kostenlose Anleitung gestoßen.
