This knit bow tie pattern is the easiest you will ever make. Can be made into a hair bow by just sewing a hair elastic on the bottom. Also can be made into a brooch to put on a hat or bag.

I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton in Warm Brown and Red Heart Supersaver in Putty.

You can use any #4 worsted weight yarn. If you use #5 bulky the bow tie will come out a bit bigger.

20mm Brooch pin back or safety pin (optional only if making brooch)

Hair Elastic (optional only if making hair bow)

2 cotton balls (note: 4 balls if small cotton balls)
