Mathilda the Guardian Angel is very eager to leave her cloud and fly down to earth to meet the child (or adult ;-)) who will be her friend for a lifetime. Mind you: Mathilda might look soooo sweet, but she is rather adventurous. Always curious about the works of the world, she will accompany her friend to the playground and kindergarden, but she will also hide in your bag when there is an audit or interview. Standing 40 cm height, Mathilda has the perfect size to cuddle with.

The pattern is very detailed, with many pictures, tips and an appendix with techniques.
Please note: You can skip the wings, but the dress is fittet for a doll with wings as it has two slits in the back and is wider than it would be for a normal doll. Currently I am working on a doll that will get a whole wardrobe over the time, but as I am rather busy in my normal job, it all takes time … I am going to sell the naked doll (okay, it has panties ;-)) separately from the wardrobe, so if you buy the angel now, you will already have the doll pattern and don’t have to buy it a second time.

Original yarn:

• Lana Grossa Cool Wool Merino Superfein (100 % Merino wool, 175 yards (160 m) per 1.76 ounces (50 g)), SAND (skin) approx 1,5 skein (75 g), DRESS COLOUR (main colour) approx 1 skein (35 g), WHITE (panties and socks) approx 1 skein (35 g), HAIR approx 1 skein (35 g), SKIRT STRIPES approx 20 g each colour
• Beads, halfbeads or safety eyes, Ø approx 5 – 7 mm
• Wings and neck enforcement: Strong white felt (approx 5 mm strong), 30 x 25 cm
• Star: Thin felt or cotton, fusible web, 8 x 8 cm each, matching sewing thread
• 2 buttons matching the dress colour
• Circular needle and set of size 3 US (3 mm, 12 UK) double pointed needles
• 4 safety pins or small stitch holders
• Embroidery needle, sewing needle, darning needle
• Polyester stuffing or similar, scissors, rouge
