The Dragon Cowl Kids is a great companion, for the cold season as well. It warms both neck and shoulders at the same time. The pattern reminds one of the scales of a dragon, and the zigzag shape resembles the bony scales on a dragon’s neck.
Not only is the Dragon Cowl fun and fast to knit, it is also great for using up scraps of yarn.
There are different sizes and detailed instructions for 4-ply sock yarn and 6-ply sock yarn. Additionally, there are instructions how to vary the size of the cowl.
Bonus: the pattern Dragon Cowl kids for children contains the file for Dragon Cowl for adults as well.
Please purchase just one of the patterns.
There are also the matching patterns Dragon Mitts (wristwarmers) and Dragon Hug (shawl) in my shop.
Additionally, you can find a crochet version of the Dragon Cowl Kids, Drachen Cowl.
Very detailed pattern, 8 pages, with many photos, plus 2 easy to follow photo tutorials on knitting stitches together and a special bind off technique.
Written explanation for the different stitches in the legend.
Additionally, you will find hints on how to vary the size of the mitts.
