Mellea Poncho, round yoke, top down, beginner pattern

Product description

Ponchos are great pieces of clothing. They warm you so well and still offer a lot of free moving space. You are wrapped up like being in a cozy cocoon. So you will be ready for the cold season.
Mellea is knit top down. This ensures that you can knit the poncho to whatever length suits you. With the ingenious increase of the round yoke, the poncho can be adjusted to any size. There is a written pattern as well as charts.

At the end of this pattern, there is a workshop on how to adjust the poncho to any size and yarn weight. So you can knit it in children’s sizes as well.

500 g Lana Grossa Ragazza Siamo, 100 m/50 g; circular needles 7 (US 10 ½)und 8 mm (US 11)
1 stitch marker, 2 yarn holders, a length of scrap yarn

or: any other desired yarn that meets the gauge.

Note: Lana Grossa Ragazza Siamo is a voluminous chain yarn. Comparable yarns are for example: Alta Moda Cashmere 16, Schachenmayr Alpaca Classico, Drops Melody.You can of course use any yarn for 7 or 8 mm needles (US 10 ½ - 11), just take care of the yardage needed. Or you can use any yarn you like and follow the notes for different yarn weights and sizes in the workshop at the end of this pattern.

13 stitches x 20 rows (10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4˝)

Mir hat die Jacke sehr gut gefallen und ich fand, es ist mal etwas anderes. Ich habe die Anleitung vor Beginn aufmerksam gelesen und mir alles markiert, was für meine Größe wichtig war. Ich wählte die lange Variante und konnte die Anleitung auch leicht umsetzten. Leider war das Endergebniss nicht so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe, obwohl ich immer wieder mal probiert habe. Die Länge passt überhaupt nicht, viel zu kurz für die lange Variante. Ich werde sie wieder aufribbeln, da ich sie so nicht anziehen werde. Schade um die Zeit, obwohl es sehr Spaß gemacht hat sie zu stricken.

Nichts für ambitionierte Anfänger
Trotz zusätzlicher Videos kollidieren diese ständig mit der Anleitung. Unverständlich, wo die Zunahmen hinkommen, ständig ist von Reihe 1 oder Reihe 10 die Rede. Von vielen Bildern kann auch keine Rede sein. Ich Handarbeiten schon seit Jahrzehnten aber das erschließt sich mir partout nicht. Schade, hatte mich drauf gefreut.

Tolles Design, gute Anleitung
Diese Anleitung muss man sich genau durchlesen und exakt das stricken, was steht. Im Laufe der Zeit kommt man aber gut rein. Musste 2x ribbeln
