It's easy to get lost in the eye-catching pattern of this wide scarf, as if you were wandering through a labyrinth of lines and shapes. But a quick change of view, a new perspective - and suddenly the pattern reveals itself in a different light.
The mosaic pattern is very effective and yet very easy to knit. Only one color is needed per row, the patterns are created by slip stitches.

Before blocking: Lengths: approx. 67 inches / 170 cm, Width: 12 inches / 30 cm
After blocking: Lengths: approx. 83 inches / 210 cm, Width: 15 inches / 40 cm

Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool [100% wool (Merino) - 350 yds per 100 g]

Alternatively:
You can use every other sport weight merino wool with a similar yardage.
Gauge after washing and blocking:
24 stitches and 30 rows = 4‘‘ / 10 cm in garter stitch

Yardage:
ca. 150 g (525 yds / 480 m) in main color A
ca. 170 g (590 yds / 540 m) in contrast color B
ca. 50 g (175 yds / 160 m) in contrast color C

Original colors:
Main color A: Pufferfish (light gray)
Contrast color B: Cornish Slate (dark gray)
Contrast color C: Wild Mallow (purple)

Make sure that colors A and C contrast well with color B so that the mosaic patterns are shown to their best advantage.
