A mouse for a kitten

I invite you to crochet a small mouse that will become a toy for your kitten. The mouse is very easy to crochet. In a short time, you will be able to crochet a whole family of mice!
I suggest putting a small rattle, a bell or a small bag of catnip inside the body. This way the kitten will show even more interest in the new toy.

Stitches (US-terminology):
ch – chain
st - stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)
dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
hdc - half double crochet

Techniques:
Magic Ring; crochet on chains; increase/decrease of stitches; crochet in continuous rounds, fasten off.

The size of my mouse is 5 cm + 5 cm for tail. I used 300 m/100g acrylic yarn. Depending on the thickness of yarn a finished toy size may differ.

You can choose the yarn at your discretion, of a similar color, composition and thickness. Acrylic, wool, velour or cotton will do. The consumption of yarn is small.
Yarn of the following colours is required: grey and pink.

• Crochet hooks in two sizes. I used No.1.5 mm and No. 2.0 mm crochet hook
• A sewing needle, matching sewing threads;
• Hollow fibre for stuffing
• For eyes: 2 black beads (You can embroider eyes with yarn)
• For embroidery: a few threads of black and white
• optional: a small rattle, a small bell or a small bag with catnip (to attract the kitten's attention to a crocheted toy)
