Cor Cushion - Knitting pattern for a heart shaped pillow

Cor is latin for heart.

The pattern is constructed in a way you can just start and measure your gauge while working. This will help you make some easy calculations to get the exact size you want!

Needed Stitches:

• knit
• M1R
• M1L
• k2tog
• ssk
• Kitchener-Stitch
• Judy’s Magic Cast-On

Size: Adjustable! Written out for the range of 20 to 150 rounds for the heart's tip.

Material:

• Every yarn you like, from light fingering to thicker!
• Original: Hobbii Amigo Chunky (100m/100g, 109yds/3.5oz),
• Colors (1 skein of each color):
• Christmas Red (A42)
• Marsala (A51)
• Dark Red (A41)
• Circular needles in appropriate size for your yarn, I used 7mm needles, with about 100cm/40’’ length.
• 2 stitch markers, 1 for the seam of 2 stitches (explained in the pattern, a security pin or a piece of thread will also work).
• Cushion filling, amount depending on desired size. For a cushion with about 43cm/17’’ on the widest part and about 50cm/19.5” height you will need 250-300g/10.5oz.
• Darning needle.
