Baumwolltwill ist ein Köpergewebe, die Jeans sind in diesem Webbild alle gewebt. Durch diese schräge Webung wird der Stoff sehr widerstandsfähig und kann so einiges aushalten. Für die moderne Jeans wird sehr oft ein Anteil an Elastan mit eingearbeitet, dadurch ergibt sich ein sehr bequemes Tragegefühl. Dieser Köper wird auch gerne bei Arbeitshosen/ Jacken genommen, da er eben auch sehr belastbar ist und ned so schnell *durchgeschafft* ist.
