Pannesamt ist ein meist ein Polyesterstoff und beim Zuschnitt fusselt der auf Teufel komm raus, ich hab mich jedesmal danach geduscht, denn es juckte am ganzen Körper.

Nein, natürlich nicht. Woher der Name kommt, weiß ich nicht. Pannesamt ist ein Stoff wie oben schon erwähnt, der immer faltenfrei ist und eine eigene Struktur hat. Der Stoff hat einen feinen Glanz und fällt schwer. Er sieht wegen des Ganzes sehr edel aus.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass die Kanten sich praktisch nicht aufribbeln. Beim Nähen kann man sich daher unter Umständen das Versäumen sparen.
