• Yarn - you need yarn- # 5 Bulky,
I used - Lanoso Lux Mohair, 200 m = 100 g (218 yd = 50 g)- 70% mohair and 30% acrylic, by crocheting on two strands (aran+aran).
gauge: 14 stitch = 4", 10 cm - with 4 mm hook
You will need from 260 to 280 g or 520 to 560 m
for better visibility of the photos in the pattern I will use 100% felt wool yarn (100g=100m). If you use a similar yarn, the hat size will be one size smaller.
• Recommended Crochet hook - US G-6 / 4 mm
• for eyes - I use 30 mm flat round beads that I painted with nail polishes. You can also use buttons of the this (30 mm) size and shape or ready-made eyes to glue or sew on.

Für einen Vogelliebhaber zum Geschenk zum 80. Geburtstag. Lieber früh angefangen, da ich nicht sicher war ob alles so wird wie gedacht. Aber wirklich tolle Anleitung, verständlich und die beiden Aras sind schneller fertig geworden als gedacht. Vielen Dank dafür.
