Underwater world with Olivier and Dion - Crochetpattern

UNDERWATER WORLD, BARREL WITH OCTOPUS OLIVIER AND SURGEON FISH DION

This pattern was part of the facebook-event "Underwater world – the CAL 2023".

From August until October 2023 Colita and I started our second underwater world expedition searching for 2 missing objects that we lost on our first expedition. Thereby we discovered new sea dwellers and corals.
The underwaterworld consists of this pattern and the pattern:
„Underwater world - divers helmet with shrimp Garrit and juwels-damselfish Raoul“ by Colita (only available in German and Netherlands)

All participating divers received a “Personalized diving license for experts“, which guarantees a seat on the ship to our next and final “underwater world expedition".
With this pattern you’ll get the divers-badge “Diving license for advanced students by CDoro”, which ensures half of the ticket!

The pdf includes the pattern for the underwaterworld with the base and stone, the corals (thimbles, pyramides and bowls) and mini-sea stars,the barrel, the algae and sea weeds and the sea dwellers octopus Olivier and surgeon fish Dion;
It also includes a special "color-change-tutorial".

The PDF-pattern consists of 28 pages and has more than 158 colored pictures.
It is available in German (DE), in English (EN) and in Netherlands (NL).

I used Schachenmayr Catania yarn and a 2 mm crochet hook.

With the stated yarn and crochet hook the finished unterwarter world has a diameter of approx. 18 cm
and the separate parts measure:

• barrel: approx. 10 cm
• stone: approx. 8 cm x 4.5 cm
• mini-ses star: approx. 3.5 cm
• coral 1 - thimble: approx. 2.5 cm
• coral 2 - pyramid: ca. 1.5 & 2 cm
• coral 3 - bowl: approx. 3 cm
• algae: approx. 10 - 15 cm
• sea weed: approx. 6 & 8 cm
• ocktopus Olivier: body approx. 8 x 4/4.5 cm
• surgeon fish Dion: approx. 12 - 13 cm

The size also depends on how tight or lose you crochet. If you use another yarn as stated, you have to match the size of your crochet hook accordingly to the yarn size and also the amount of yarn balls, whereby the size can also vary.
