Knitted Coat, Long Cardigan "CHIPMUNK" – seamless – top-down

Product description

CHIPMUNK is a comfy and loose long cardigan that you will want to wear everyday.
This perfect stash buster is worked from top down using nine colors. The striping throughout allows for an opportunity to be playful with color, while creating a classic garment that belongs in everyone’s wardrobe.
This cardigan is meant to inspire and encourage you to stripe with as many colors as you’d like and play with different yarn bases and fibres.

CONSTRUCTION
This coat is a seamless top-down construction. Start at the top edge of the back piece, and knit in rows until the sleeve height is reached. Then, pick up stitches from the right and left cast-on edge to work the right and left front piece. Join pieces for working the body, and continue straight down until you reach the body length. Pick up stitches from the armholes and knit the sleeves in rounds.

FIT
The coat is designed to be worn open, with a casual fit. There is minimal shaping in this garment, working a few decreases for the body. Add buttons if you like.
