IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished item.
This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.
A little Christmas gnome to hang up: under the long red pointed hat with its white brim and pompom, only the soft white beard and the round beige nose peek out. The body is worked in red, blue or grey – so one gnome quickly turns into several. A loop of 15 chains turns him into a hanging ornament.
The PDF walks you through every part round by round – body, hat, pompom, nose, hat brim and beard – with photos for each piece and stitch counts.
If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST, before leaving a review – we will sort it out together!
Required skills: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, magic ring, increase and decrease.
The pattern is a step-by-step PDF with photos. Every round/row is written out individually, with stitch counts.
Skill level: easy – small pieces and only basic stitches, very doable for beginners.
Finished size: approx. 8 cm.
Used: 3 mm hook, for the beard 4 mm.
• scraps in red, white and beige, weight 3–4
• for the body a scrap in red, blue or grey, weight 3–4
• a small scrap of eyelash yarn
• a little stuffing
• crochet hook 3 mm, crochet hook 4 mm (for the beard only), darning needle, scissors
You are welcome to sell your finished gnomes, as long as you include a note "Made from a pattern by Masche-fuer-Masche" with a link to my shop.
The pattern itself is for private use only – it may not be sold, gifted, shared, exchanged or published in any way, in any language.
You can download the pattern immediately after receipt of payment.
