Turtle Crochet Pattern – Amigurumi Turtle, English & German

Product description

IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished turtle.

This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.

A little green turtle with a patterned shell made of individual hexagons – a real eye-catcher among amigurumi. Now she's ready to move in with you.

If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST, before leaving a review – we'll sort it out together!

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Required skills: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, magic ring, increase and decrease, plus the popcorn stitch (explained step by step in the PDF at the feet section).

The pattern is a detailed step-by-step PDF with lots of photos. Every round/row is written out individually, with stitch counts.

Skill level: intermediate/advanced – the patterned shell made of individual hexagons and the popcorn stitch make it a slightly more demanding, but very doable project.

Size Information

Gauge: 24 stitches × 22 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 in (3 mm hook). Yarn used: Schachenmayr Catania.
The turtle will become around 20 cm long

Materials List

50 g light green
50 g medium green
50 g dark green
50 g natural/cream
scraps in white, black and red
stuffing
crochet hook 3 mm, darning/embroidery needle, scissors, a few safety pins (if to hand)

You are welcome to sell your finished turtle, as long as you include a note "Made from a pattern by Masche-fuer-Masche" with a link to my shop. The pattern itself is for private use only – it may not be sold, gifted, shared or published in any way, in any language.
