Lightweight Sweater KYOTO

Product description

KYOTO is a basic lightweight bottom-up sweater with a boxy fit to allow for a beautiful drape off the shoulders.
Its simple and seamless construction makes it easy to modify as you knit. Feel free to add or subtract length and armhole depth to make a more custom fit.
While the pattern is detailed for stripes in 4 colours, it could easily be made in a solid colour or a different stripe pattern for a classic wardrobe staple.
It is meant to be worn with some positive ease, but how much is entirely up to you.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up, seamlessly. Starting with the hem, the body is worked in the round until the divide for the sleeves. Front and back are worked flat, and the shoulders are finished using the 3-needle bind-off. Then, stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the armholes. The sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuff.

You can easily adjust however much length you would like to the body of the sweater before separating the front and back for the yoke.
