Iluq the polar bear carries his name with pride – he just loves it when the temperature drops deeper and deeper, the wind howls and the icebergs gleam magically under the northern lights . With his beautiful coat and the stylish shawl, he never feels the cold at all!
Choose any yarn you like – Iluq will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. If you knit Iluq for a child, make sure the yarn is robust, washable and doesn’t pill too much.
The pattern will lead you step-by-step through the knitting and sewing, including loads of detail photos and charts. Additionally, you’ll find instructions for the more elaborate techniques used.
CABLE PATTERN
I included three different instructions:
You can knit the cables using mainly a chart
You can skip the chart and just use the fully written version
If you don’t like or just don’t want to knit the cables, I wrote an instruction for the body without cables – the whole working process of the body will be a bit different to the cable variation

Diese Anleitung ist toll erklärt, Schritt für Schritt.
Für Anfänger könnte schwierig werden, mit dem Nadelspiel und Ferse.
Aber wagt euch ran, es macht riesigen Spaß die Puppen zu stricken.
Habe mittlerweile schon die 3 Puppe gestrickt 😍
Schade, dass man keine Bilder senden kann.
Es wird in dieser Anleitung jede Masche, die zu stricken ist, genau beschrieben. Zusätzlich gibt es einen Überblick über den Aufbau der Handschuhe. Man kann der Anleitung gut folgen und hat schnell das erste Paar Handschuhe fertig. Die sehr gute Anleitung lässt sich durch die Tipps gut auf eigene Wünsche abändern. Die von mir verwendete Wolle ergab auch bei der kleinsten Größe noch sehr große Handschuhe, so dass ich die Maschenzahl noch weiter verringern kann.
Durch die völlig andere Vorgehensweise erfrischend und kurzweilig. Das Resultat ist bei Verwendung diverser Woll-Reste immer wieder überraschend anders, jedoch immer sehr ansprechend.
I have paid for this pattern and when I downloaded it found that the instructions are not in English! There was no indication in the pattern ordering details that this pattern was in another language.
Dear June-Keir, there are two patterns in the download area. One in English, one in German. It looks like you downloaded the German pattern only. Just go back to the pattern site and click on the download button. (It's there because you bought the pattern already.) Make sure to download both patterns or the zipped file, just to make sure you get the right language.
It would be nice if you could tell people here when you downloaded the file, because it's very misleading to other customers who want to buy the English pattern but are irritated that there might be only one language.
