IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished toy.
This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.
Two seals in one pattern: the mum in light grey, the baby in lemon. They are worked in the round in single crochet. The tail fin grows straight out of the body and is divided afterwards with a few stitches – that is what gives it its shape. Betty gets cheeks with knotted-in whiskers, Brenda a muzzle sewn on.
Photo note: The crocheted item is real and made by me. On some photos the background was AI-generated or digitally edited.
If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST, before leaving a review – we'll sort it out together!
Required skills: magic ring, chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase and decrease, working in rounds, changing colours, stuffing pieces and sewing them on, embroidering the nose and eyebrows, knotting in the whiskers.
The pattern is a detailed step-by-step PDF with lots of photos. Every round is written out individually, with stitch counts. For each piece you are told exactly where it is sewn on – measured in rounds.
There are no unusual techniques. The pattern is simply a long one, because it contains two complete animals.
Mum Betty: approx. 60 cm / 24 in long and 40 cm / 16 in tall. Baby Brenda: approx. 50 cm / 20 in long.
