Crochet Pattern Placemat "Venetia"

The lovely couple is travelling again, this time to Venetia. The Italian « Dolce Vita » immediately comes to mind but also beautiful buildings, narrow alleys and a romantic gondola ride. Even while crocheting you can’t stop dreaming about this beautiful scene 😊

This placemat is worked in the Tapestry Crochet Technique. This is quite easy, fun to do, and it is explained in detail in the pattern.

Required skills:

• Good basic knowledge of crocheting (chain stitch, single crochet)
• Crochet with two colours (the technique is explained in detail in the pattern)

With a gauge 24 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“), size of the finished placemat is approx. 46 cm x 31 cm

• Schachenmayr Organic Cotton (155 m / 50 gr), approx. 90 gr Silver (background colour) and 40 gr Blue (motif colour)
