An Almost Round Bag - PA-219

This is an easy to make crocheted bag that is almost a circle. Working back and forth from the center starting point, the pattern creates its own gusset. Simply make a front and a back and crochet them together on the last row. Add a top trim, shoulder strap and four crocheted buttons and you have an eye-catching little tote bag that is simple enough for a novice crocheter.

Skill level: Intermediate.

Size: Approximately 11" at its widest part and 8" in depth with a 2" gusset.

Materials: Yarn: The bag shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Super Value" (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Bernat. You will need approximately 400 yards of almost any worsted weight yarn to complete this project.
Tools: U.S. sizes H and I crochet hooks.
