Owls family crochet pattern

This is a complete owl family in three different sizes.

They are adorable all together, but also really cute as a keychain, a little hanger on a present and I am sure, you will have a lots of more ideas to use it.

The pattern explains all three sizes and includes a lot of detailed pictures.

You are a beginner, but should still be able to crochet this pattern.

needed knowledge:

ch chain
sc single crochet
st slip stitch
mc magic circle
hdc half double crochet
dc double crochet
tc triple crochet
dec decrease
inc increase
db double
sk skip

needed materials:

• left overs in off white, blue, yellow, light blue, red, purple, dark blue and orange
• 2 black half beads, about 8 mm/ 0,3 inches
• stick for a single owl, about 6 cm/ 0,25 inches long
• stick for the whole family 30 cm/ 12 inches long
• stuffing
• for hanging the owl, left overs in white, green and red

needed equipment:

• hook no 12/ C
• darning needle
• glue
• scissors
• drill for the holes in the sticks

Gauge: 26 stitches 24 rows = 10 10 cm / 4* 4 inches
I used Schachenmayr Catania.
The will be 7,8 and 9 cm/ 3/ 3,2 and 3,6 inches tall.
