Colourful Grab Ball – woven crochet grab ball for babies

Product description

IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished ball.

This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.

A colourful woven grab ball to crochet – perfect as a baby grasping toy or as a bright play ball. From six simple strands (only chains and single crochet) a sturdy ball is formed by clever weaving – completely without stuffing and in the colours of your choice.

If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST, before leaving a review – we'll sort it out together!

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Required skills: chain and single crochet – nothing else.
The pattern is a detailed step-by-step PDF with photos. Every round is written out individually.
Skill level: beginner-friendly – only two stitch types; the weaving takes a little patience but is very doable.

Size Information

Finished size: approx. 7 cm in diameter (depending on yarn and weaving).
Gauge: 24 stitches × 22 rows = 10 × 10 cm.
Yarn used: Schachenmayr Bravo (3–3.5 mm hook).

Materials List

• approx. 25 g per colour – 3 colours per ball (2 strands per colour)
• e.g. mid-blue + lilac + blackberry (purple ball) or red + yellow + green (bright ball)
• cotton yarn, e.g. Schachenmayr Bravo (3–3.5 mm hook)
• crochet hook 3 mm, darning needle, scissors
