Crochet pattern sweet winter owls

This pattern shows you how to crochet this little funny winter owls.

You can use the same pattern to make larger or smaller owls by using thinner or thicker yarn.
My little owls are made of Catania and hook 3,0 mm, my bigger owls are made of thicker cotton or acrylic yarn for hook 3,00-4,5 mm.
This will make the little owls about 11 cm (4,3 inch) and the bigger owls about 15 cm (6 inch) high.

But you can also use any other yarn you like.

The scarf is made of front and back post double crochets.

You need a hot glue gun to put some pieces together.

The individual parts are preferably glued, so you should have a hot glue gun.
You should be able to master front and back post dc.

appx. 25 gram cotton yarn in white,creme or grey for needle size 2 – 4 mm ,Length 50gr: 125m (e.g Catania, Scheepjes Catona …)

Hook 2,5 mm and 3,0 mm

appx. 30 gram cotton yarn in the color of your choice for cap and scarf

appx. 15 gram Eyelash/ fur yarn/ fluffy yarn in white, grey or light pink (e.g.z.B Rico fashion fur, Schachenmayr Lenja soft..)

big Owl:

appx. 30 gram thicker Cotton yarn or acrylic yarn in white,creme or grey for needle size 3,5 -4 mm for the body

Hook 3,0 mm und 4 mm

appx. 30 gram cotton or acrylic yarn in the color of your choice for cap and scarf for needle size 3,5-4 mm

appx. 15 gram Eyelash/ fur yarn/fluffy yarn in white, frey or light pink (e.g.z.B Rico fashion fur, Schachenmayr Lenja soft..)

fiberfill

1 white pompon for cap

felt in orange,red or yellow for feet and beak

2 black safety eyes, 10 mm in diameter

hot glue and hot glue gun
