IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished Santa.
This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.
―――――――――――
A Santa Claus you can fill. He is made of two parts: on top the red jacket with white edges, a black belt and a yellow embroidered buckle – on the inside a black pouch that holds sweets. At the bottom the red trousers with both legs and the black shoes with a yellow buckle, roomy enough for a handful of nuts. Put together he stands there as one figure: with head, a skin-coloured nose, a white beard made from fluffy yarn and a red pointed hat with a white brim and a pompom.
Detailed step-by-step PDF with 15 photos and stitch-count checks
All parts: shoes, trousers with legs, inner part, jacket, belt, sleeves, hands, nose, head, hat, pompom and beard
US crochet terms (sc, ch, inc, dec) – German version with German abbreviations included
Materials: yarn weight 4–4.5 (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania Grande), 4 mm and 3 mm hook
Skill level: intermediate – lots of separate pieces, but only basic stitches and very doable round by round
If you run into any trouble, please message me FIRST before leaving a review – we'll sort it out together!
You are welcome to sell your finished Santa, as long as you include a note "Made from a pattern by Masche-fuer-Masche" with a link to my shop. The pattern itself is for private use only.
Required skills: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet, magic ring, increase and decrease – worked in rounds and in rows.
The pattern is a detailed step-by-step PDF with photos. Every round or row is written out individually, with stitch-count checks.
Skill level: intermediate – lots of separate pieces, but only basic stitches.
Gauge: 24 stitches × 26 rows = 10 × 10 cm.
Yarn used: Schachenmayr Catania Grande for the yarn weight 4–4.5 and Schachenmayr Catania for the nose (yarn weight 2–2.5).
Unless stated otherwise, always use the 4 mm hook.
