If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 280y/3.5 oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the book’s side length will become approx. 8 cm. If you want to fix the book e.g. at your buggy or baby seat you additionally need a button or hook-and-loop fastener to build a loop.
This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, crochet in rows, colour change (crochet terms in British English!).
It is not allowed to use this tutorial for commercial purpose, nor to copy and spread even parts of it. It is not allowed to sell articles made with the aid of this pattern.

Hat super geklappt und das Memory ist richtig schön geworden! Ich hatte nur dünnere Wolle und habe daher zwei Runden mehr pro Keks gehäkelt (mit entsprechender Zunahme). Ist auf jeden Fall eine Fleißarbeit 😅, lohnt sich aber!
(Für die Schale hatte ich leider keine Zeit mehr, man kann das Memory aber auch in einer schönen Schachtel verschenken 😊)
