If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the shoes will become approx. 6.5 cm long and will fit many popular dolls with a body height of 43 cm and 6 cm long feet. As extra material you need 2 small buttons (diameter approx. 5 to 10 mm).
This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, crochet in rows and rounds (crochet terms in British English!).
