Knitted socks in stranded colorwork "Moonlit Rivers"
Product description
Just a romantic idea of soft moonlight and the peace of the night.
The socks are worked top-cuff-down in a stranded colorwork pattern. The ribbing of the cuff continues on the heel flap and the toe. The pattern is written for the use of DPNs.
Skills Required / What You'll Receive
Please note that you can’t knit these socks without knowing how to read charts.
Difficulty level: Intermediate (stranded knitting, working from charts, cuff-down sock construction, working in the round on DPNs)
- k: knit
- p: purl
- sl: slip
- skp: slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over
- k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
- p2tog: purl 2 stitches together
Gauge: 28 sts/46 rows in stranded stockinette = 10cm/4in.

Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special (80% wool, 20% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), main color, 2 balls; Vendita sock yarn (75% wool, 25% nylon; 210m/50g; 230yds/1.76oz), contrast color, 1 ball. Sample used 243m (266yds) of main color and 117m (128yds) of contrast color.
Needles: 2.5mm (US 1 1/2) set of 5 DPNs

Die Anleitung ist okay und gut nachvollziehbar. Jede Reihe ist einzeln Masche für Masche beschrieben. Mehrere Maschenproben waren aufgrund großer Abweichungen nötig. Für den Preis fehlt mir eine Großaufnahme der Stelle des Anfangs der Arbeit, der Mittellinie und der Ecken, sowie eine Schemazeichnung. Beim Stöbern bin ich im Nachhinein auf eine ähnliche, kostenlose Anleitung gestoßen.
