In my family, ‘Leftover Buffet’ is a running joke for whenever lunch consists of the previous days’ leftovers. It is always a major highlight for my kids! Just like at a real buffet, you get to pick your favorites from your yarn scraps and finally create that beautiful piece you’ve always wanted to make with them.
Socks can be knit in various ways: DPNs, CraSyTrio, short circulars, Magic Loop, etc. This pattern was written specifically for the Magic Loop or Trio method. The two cable halves of the Magic Loop are referred to in this pattern as Needle 1 and Needle 2.
The socks are worked from the toe up to the leg. Both socks are knit identically.
The following techniques are explained in the linked tutorials:
● Fit tutorial
● Turkish cast-on
● Ladderback jacquard tutorial
● Binding off stitches using a crochet hook instead of the standard bind-off method:
NOT suitable for absolute beginners.
The pattern spans 22 pages and includes numerous images illustrating the techniques. Some techniques are provided via links to keep the document from becoming too long.
Charts are included, as well as a coloring chart for each size, allowing you to create your own color combinations.
