Lindelbrunn is a small village in the Palatinate region—specifically, in the district of Südliche Weinstraße. One of the countless 13th-century castles located near the vil-lage also bears this name.
Socks can be knitted in various ways: using double-pointed needles, CraSy Trios, very short circular needles, etc. These instructions were written specifically for use with double-pointed needles (DPNs).
The socks are knitted in the classic style, working from the cuff down to the toe.
The stitch pattern has been calculated so that - regardless of the size you are knitting - you will finish at the exact point in the chart shown in the sample model. However, this assumes that you have achieved the correct gauge.
The heel featured in this pattern is a French Heel. Of course, you are free to work any other type of heel if you have a different preference.
After completing the heel, the stitch pattern and the decorative side panel are continued along the foot, while the sole is worked in simple stockinette stripes.
Both socks are knitted identically.
